This week I stared making a buck to vac form. This would be used to make caps for the bottom and top of each lantern. I have never made a buck before and was determined to get it perfect. Although sanding was repetitive and boring I feel it will be worth it to see the finished piece.
Working on this has made me aware that using a lathe is something that would be very useful and I have stared watching YouTube videos on this and am looking into finding an opportunity to learn using one.
